As Ellen and I were waiting outside the gate, there was a familiar person sitting on the other side of the planter from us, Keith Robinson, President, Programmer & Game Designer of Intellivision! I had to go talk to him.

The concert started with an opening act from famous electronic recording artist Brian “BT” Transeau previewing selections from his new album “This Binary Universe.” Legendary guitarists Steve Vai and Dweezil Zappa performmed along with the orchestra, as well as live electronic drumming by Irwin.

A kid was selected to come on stage and play a round of Space Invaders. To move the ship, the kid would actually walk left and right and press a the single button he was holding to fire.
