The easiest access was found by partialy removing the inner fender

Once we got the cable into the engine compartment, we had to find a way to get it in the passenger compartment

We initialy used the antenna on the other side as a leveling guide. Oversizing one of the holes allowed us to do a last minute adjustment.

Here is my cheap rig. I used a lighter plug for portability.

I used one hand to keep the fender from blocking the circulation in my other arm.

There was plenty of access through the fender.

Now that the antenna is in place, time to secure the cable. Removal of the fake air intake was easy.

A few zip ties will keep the cable from being damaged by the hood

Luckily, the tech that installed my alarm found a great access point for pulling wires through the firewall.
