Hacking the old tips off. You can see the first set we tried on the ramp, but they had the same problem as the old ones and could be smashed.

They moved the pipes forward to prevent the axle from hitting them again.

I kept breaking the mount just behind the flange Right behind the transfer case so I had another added just ahead of the joint.

The new mount by the flange caused the tips rattle. One more mount did the trick.
